Considering the great growth in the usage of free, open source OSes, mainly Linux, and also taking into account that the user interfaces for these OSes developed quite a lot in the recent years we reached the conclusion that more effort should be dedicated to this domain. When we began focusing on UNIX based UIs we established our main goal: UNIX based applications as accesible as Windows based ones.

Another thing worth mentioning is that by using these technologies you avoid paying large licence fees, for exemple, for operating systems.

Our focus is on reliability, scalability and preformance. As a rule of thumb, when we develop such an application we also write stress test programs. These ensure us that the applications can handle reliably, large loads and thousands of connections.
